The 28th Annual Family Cafe
The Family Café’s Book Fair provides free exhibit space to authors with disabilities and authors who have written books about issues affecting the disability community.
To qualify to participate in Book Fair, your book must meet one of the following criteria:
- Written by a self-advocate
- Written about a topic impacting the disability community
Space in these programs is limited and participants are selected through a review process. To be considered, all applications must be received by May 1. Applicants will be notified of their status by May 15.
Exhibit Space Details
Each exhibit space includes a 10′ x 10′ area furnished with one skirted table, two chairs, and pipe and drape.
Only one booth space per household will be considered for free exhibit space.
There is no cost for qualifying participants, however booth representatives who are not individuals with disabilities or their family members or caregivers must pay a $250 registration fee.
Failure to notify The Family Café of cancellation may disqualify you from participating in the future.
Booth assignments are subject to change by The Family Café.
Sharing, assigning, or subletting booth space is prohibited without prior approval.
This form does not serve as attendee registration for The 28th Annual Family Café. In order to request Financial Assistance, you must register as an attendee on The Family Café’s website beginning February 14.
