The 15th Annual Youth Summit, August 5-6

The Family Cafe and The Florida Youth Council invite all transition-age youth with disabilities to join us at The 15th Annual Youth Summit, this August 5-6 in Orlando!

The Annual Youth Summit is a place for young people with disabilities between the ages of 15 and 30 from communities across the state of Florida to come together to learn, share, and network. The Annual Youth Summit brings together over 200 youth and emerging leaders to attend engaging youth-only sessions on a wide variety of topics, including transition, workplace preparedness, and post-secondary schooling. It features a great, youth-friendly keynote and fun social activities, including a dance party to cap off the festivities. There are plenty of opportunities for attendees to network, and share their thoughts, experiences, and aspirations!

The 15th Annual Youth Summit will be held at The Florida Hotel and Conference Center in Orlando on August 5-6, 2022. Limited financial assistance to cover the cost of hotel accommodation is available.

Donate to The Family Café

Since 1998, The Family Café has been connecting Floridians with disabilities and their families with information, training, resources, and networking opportunities. The families that came together to create The Family Café, and our signature event, The Annual Family Café, believed that by coming together, Florida families could support each other, connect each other with critical resources, and build inclusive, disability-friendly communities.

To realize our vision of a future where people with disabilities are truly valued, we rely on the investment of those that share our beliefs. If you want to help us build a future where people with disabilities can thrive in their communities, we invite you to support our work my making a donation today.

The Family Café is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, and your contribution will be fully tax deductible.
